UpDown Desks
PRO+ desk frames
-PRO+ Desk Frames come with a 10 year warranty which covers the desk frame and all electrical components.
-The warranty covers any material faults in the desk frame that prevent the normal use of the desk.
-The warranty does not cover:
> Decline in performance that can occur with use that is not "normal use" (see below for definition).
> Normal wear and tear from use over time.
> Damage caused by incorrect or inaccurate assembly / disassembly, inappropriate cleaning supplies used, misuse or abuse, using the desk frame with products not appropriate for the desk frame, modifications of the desk frame (unless prior written approval is received from UpDown Desk) or force majeure, such as floods, fire or hurricanes.
-The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
-The warranty is only valid for purchases made from this website.
-If you break the desk or any components from misuse, the warranty is void on those components. If they needs replacing, you will be required to purchase the replacement part. Please contact us if you need replacement parts, as we keep most spare parts on hand.
-Definition of "normal use":
> Equalling the industry standard in electric sit/stand desks, the frame is designed with a duty cycle of 10%. In practical terms, this equates to 6 minutes per hour or 2 minutes per 20 minutes (i.e. 2 minutes on, 18 minutes off). Considering the average time to shift the desk from a sit to stand position (or vice versa) is less than 15 seconds, this is more than enough for most applications. The 10% duty cycle should not be exceeded as it may result in overheating the motor and control box, and in turn reducing the life of your desk.
> Keeping the weight on your desk as evenly distributed as possible, to avoid uneven load on the motors.
> Using the desk for a single-shift length i.e. 8 hours per day / 5 days per week. Overuse will reduce the warranty length accordingly e.g. double-shift use will halve the warranty length.
KLIK desk frames
-KLIK Desk Frames come with a 10 year warranty which covers the desk frame and all electrical components.

Desktops
Desktops purchased on this website come with a 5 year warranty for standard sizes sold with a PRO, PRO+ or KLIK Desk, a 3 year warranty for standard sizes sold with a LYFT Desk, or a 1 year warranty for custom made desktops. The warranty does not cover:
-Natural variations in wood, including colour shifts, grain patterns and knots.
-Minor cracking or splitting resulting from changes in temperature or humidity.
-Cracking or warping caused by excessive dryness, moisture, or extended exposure to direct sunlight.
-Cosmetic wear such as scratches, dents, stains, or surface marks from regular use.
-Damage caused by incorrect or inaccurate assembly / disassembly, inappropriate cleaning supplies used, misuse or abuse, using the desktop with products not appropriate for the desktop, or force majeure, such as floods, fire or hurricanes.
-Use in environments outside typical residential or office settings.
-Modifications to the desktop excluding:
> grommet holes installed by UpDown Desk, or
> if prior written approval is received from UpDown Desk
-Consistency of colour, texture or pattern of the grain across purchases.
-The colourfastness of the desktop over its lifespan.
-Natural timber desktops that are sold in a raw or unsealed state.
Chairs
UpDown brand chairs
UpDown Chairs come with the following warranty:
-10 years on the followings parts: headrest, backrest, armrests, seat, mechanism, gas lift, chair base and casters.
-2 years on upholstered foam and fabric.
-The guarantee is subject to the chair being used for its designed purpose and a single shift duration i.e. 40 hours per week.
-The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
-The warranty is only valid for purchases made from this website.
-If you break the chair or any components from misuse, the warranty is void on those components. If they need replacing, you will be required to purchase the replacement part. Please contact us if you need replacement parts, as we keep most spare parts on hand.
-We may send you a part of give you instructions on how to fix the chair yourself at your location, or, if necessary, the chair may be sent to us for repair. The freight costs to send a replacement part to you is at your expense. The freight cost to return the chair to us and for us to send the chair back to you are at your expense.
Buro chairs
Buro Seating chairs come with the following warranty:
-Buro Diablo Chair - 6 year guarantee
-Buro Konfurb Loop 5 Star Chair - 5 year guarantee
-Buro Polo Drafting Stool - 6 year guarantee
-Buro Roma Mid-Back Ergonomic Drafting Chair - 10 year guarantee
-The warranty is against faulty manufacture. This excludes upholstery material and fair wear and tear. The guarantee is subject to the chair being used for its designed purpose and a single shift duration i.e. 40 hours per week.
-The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
-The warranty is only valid for purchases made from this website.

Accessories
-5 year warranty on all non-electrical accessories.
-3 year warranty on all electrical accessories.
-The warranty does not cover:
> Normal wear and tear from use over time.
> Damage caused by incorrect or inaccurate assembly / disassembly, inappropriate cleaning supplies used, misues or abuse, or force majeure, such as floods, fire or hurricanes.
> Wood products that experience natural shifting of colour over time or due to light exposure.
Making a claim
Claiming warranty
-To submit a warranty claim, please reach out to us via email: contact@updowndesk.com.au. Please include your invoices/receipt, photos, a video that clearly shows the fault (so we can try to diagnose the problem for you).
-Once we have all of this information we can assess the warranty claim. You may be required to send faulty parts to our warehouse for inspection. If your product is faulty, we will replace the faulty component with an identical product. If we cannot replace the component, we will offer you a refund of the purchase price, minus any shipping fees. This warranty does not cover labour costs associated with removing defective products or installing replacement parts.
Products damaged in transit
All products leave or storage facility in perfect condition. If they arrive damaged, this has occurred in transit. In such instances you will be entitled to receive a replacement. If a replacement is not possible, you will be entitled to receive a refund up to the value of your damaged product.
To claim and receive your replacement product or refund, you must contact UpDown Desk within 2 business days of receiving your products(s) to report the damage. Please send photos of the damaged product(s) to us via email (contact@updowndesk.com.au)
