Our Recycled Messmate desktop is an eye-catching desk full of character and handmade by our local artisan furniture maker. Constructed from reclaimed local timber, each desktop offers unique grain patterns and characteristics for people interested in beauty as well as function and environmental sustainability. It comes in either a Natural light finish, or a darker Black Japan stain. This solid wood desktop is a generous 27mm thick with a pencil bullnose edge type and a square corner. It features reinforced bars on the underside of the desktop for additional strength.

In addition, we only use premium materials in the manufacturing process, avoiding use of toxic materials that may harm the environment. All timber desktops avoid the use of Volatile Organic Compounds and are coated with a surface lacquer which protects the top of the desktop, whilst still highlighting the beautiful natural grains and character of the timber.
