The UpDown Desk KLIK Series standing desk is a game-changer. Featuring revolutionary Plug & Play™ design technology, the frame is cleverly designed to be clicked together without the need for tools, with frame assembly taking only 5 minutes.
Developed by LINAK®, global leaders in electric linear actuator solutions, the KLIK Series is exclusive to UpDown Desk. The KLIK frame features an award-winning Toggle controller with multiple height memory settings for easy height adjustment. With an Industry best frame stability and 160 kg lifting capacity (30%+ higher than competing brands), the KLIK frames provide exceptional stability at full height (up to 127cm).
Known to be strong and beautiful, this oak desktop is also aesthetically pleasing. The pieces are made up of light blond-brown sapwood while the heartwood is a darker shade of brown. This contrast allows the features of the timber to really shine. The desktop is 25mm thick with an eased edge and square corner type. It features reinforced bars on the underside of the desktop for additional strength. Our hardwood timbers are a natural product and some variations of colour and grain will be seen in the desktop. No two trees grow exactly the same.
You can expect many years of service from the hard wearing Natural Oak desktop and quality KLIK Series frame.
DESKTOP CONSTRUCTION
Precision Slots: This desktop features slots carved into the backside of it allowing the desktop to expand and contract, preventing cupping and bowing.
Steel Bar Reinforcements: The desktop comes with steel reinforcement bars on the base for added structural integrity. The bars prevent any movement between the joined pieces of timber.
Threaded Inserts: The desktop comes with preinstalled threaded inserts, for ease of installation when inserting the screws and providing a stronger bond between the frame and desktop.
Clear Coat Protected: The desktop has been coated with a clear protective coat. The coat provides a satin finish to the desktop, which makes the desktop both aesthetically pleasing and durable.
