The UpDown Desk PRO Series electric standing desk with American Oak desktop is a classical hardwood, locally crafted by our artisan furniture maker. American Oak answers our absolute commitment to sustainable harvesting – oak forests are increasing by 39.9 million m3 ever year.
It is used for a wide range of applications, including shipping and boat building, architectural joinery, and even timber bridges due to its strength and resistance to decay. It is also an excellent timber for high-grade furniture.
As a natural wood product each desktop is unique with its own unique grain patterns and characteristics. This solid wood desktop is a generous 27mm thick with a pencil bullnose edge type and a square corner is handcrafted locally by our artisan furniture maker. Installation Made Easy
Our standing desks are very easy to set up, with most customers able to complete their own installation in approximately 30 minutes using our video.
Our desktops include pre drilled holes to assist with assembly. This enables clear-cut assembly of the frame, as well as make it easy to disassemble and move, if required.
